Privacy Policy

ICAO English is an aviation English practice application operated by Alfa-Comm and managed by a certified flight instructor and ICAO rater. This policy explains what personal data the app collects and how it is used.

• Account information: your email address, your chosen password, and your name if you choose to provide one.
• Audio recordings: voice recordings you submit for grading in the Picture Description and ATC Readback modules.
• Usage and progress data: practice activity such as completed scenarios, scores, attempts and graded results.
• Payment information: payments are handled by Stripe — the app does not receive or store your card details.

Recordings you submit in the Picture Description and ATC Readback modules are transcribed and graded by AI for the sole purpose of providing you with practice feedback. Recordings are linked to your account and are not shared publicly.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Alfa-Comm never sees, receives or stores your card details. Subscription billing records are retained by Stripe under its own privacy policy.

The service is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings page. Deletion permanently removes your progress records, graded attempts and their recordings, and cannot be undone.
